The sanding and filling on the Spit is finally done! It looks much like it did before...just a whole lot smoother ;)
Oh, and I discovered that one of my suspension mounts fouled on the exhaust so I fabricated this convoluted little widget to inset the mount into the chassis :)

Awesome! I was wondering not too long ago how this was coming.

Going slower than expected (as all projects do), but it’s great to see you’re getting there! Can’t wait to see it on the road next September year!

Have you coated it in ectoplasm for a reason? :)
You want to know what I’ve done on the MGF in the last few days? Parked it somewhere, came back to the car, noticed a puddle under the back wheel. Worried it was Hydragas fluid leaking out of a burst sphere. I put a finger in, sniffed it, it was dog pee. :/ and :) at the same time.

Well now I have to explain to my colleagues why I snorted with laughter at work ;)
How’s your F ru nning? I’ve just taken mine on a trackday at Brands Hatch and it was absolutely brilliant. Only gripe was that it needs a little more power and an oil cooler (Trophy cars had one). Oil temp is basically freely climbing on track so had to come in every 5 laps or so to let it cool down :S

Haha I still don’t have a solid end date for it (wrote a list and there’s too many unknowns at the moment...), but it’s getting there :)

Haha ‘slowly’ is probably the answer to how it’s coming, but hopefully some more visual updates soon :) lots of work goes into filling that is then completely unphotogenic.
